| NEW ORLEANS –Along with Deveney Communication president John Deveney, this years’ (2009) president of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New Orleans board, Deveney team members Jeffrey Ory ABC APR and Shannon Corrigan have stepped up to volunteer on the PRSA New Orleans Board. Deveney Communication prides itself on their community spirit and hopes to foster a growth in the New Orleans public relations community while educating members and bringing together talented professionals in the industry.
Jeffrey Ory ABC, APR, in his 11th year at Deveney Communication and a former PRSA New Orleans president takes over as Student Liaison to the PRSA New Orleans as well as Assembly delegate. Jeffrey brings unparallel experience to his positions, along with volunteer experience nationally with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
Shannon Corrigan, a graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans and Deveney senior team member, has taken on the roll of Programming Director for the PRSA New Orleans Board and has already secured many of this year’s cast of speakers for PRSA meetings.
