NEW ORLEANS – June 18, 2008 – Deveney Communication received two awards at the 2008 Marketing Awards for Excellence (MAX) reception hosted by the New Orleans chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
The AMA’s annual awards ceremony honors the most effective marketing programs in Louisiana.
Deveney Communication received the highest honor for its entry: the Gold MAX. In addition, the firm was presented with a Silver MAX. Awards were received in the Hospitality and Healthcare categories.
“Much like the National Effie Awards, the MAX competition is about effectiveness. How the various marketing elements – strategy, creative, media and research – worked together to achieve great, measurable results,” said Malcolm Schwarzenbach, outgoing president of AMA New Orleans.
