NEW ORLEANS—The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) selected New Orleans public relations agency Deveney Communication to feature in The IABC Handbook of Organizational Communication 2006 Instructor’s Guide. The handbook offers industry professionals a guide to achieve successful public relations practices.

Deveney Communication’s award-winning work plan "Louisiana Physical Therapy Association Campaign for Direct Access" was recently selected for publication in the handbook. The book will be published by Jossey-Bass and receive mass exposure through the trade business book market.
Deveney was awarded two 2004 Gold Quill awards of Excellence for the Louisiana Physical Therapy Association Campaign for Direct Access earning recognition in the Government Relations and Multi-Audience Communications divisions. The Gold Quill Awards are the mark of global distinction and is the highest level of professional acknowledgement within business communication.
