NEW ORLEANS – John Deveney, ABC, APR, and Jeffrey D. Ory, APR, have both passed the examination for accreditation in public relations, earning the APR designation granted by the Public Relations Society of America Universal Accreditation Board.
Public relations professionals with at least five years of professional experience can measure their public relations acumen via written and oral examinations designed to test practitioners’ competence in and knowledge of public relations.
The Universal Accreditation Program was formed in January 1998 and includes nine public relations organizations. The program is administered by PRSA, which has operated its own accreditation program since 1964.
John Deveney, ABC, APR, has earned the highest national and international awards in the communication profession, and was selected by PR NEWS for their list of “15 To Watch” global leaders shaping the profession. Jeffrey D.
