Kirby’s first love was the theatre; she had big dreams of singing and dancing alongside all the greats on Broadway. After realizing that she didn’t want to live as a waitress for the rest of her life, she stumbled upon Public Relations. If you can’t perform in front of the people, at least you can communicate with them.
Kirby now performs the overall traffic management of Deveney Communication, including coordinating and tracking schedules, activities and project responsibilities. Prior to joining Deveney, Kirby’s previous fans included Wink Companies, LLC and Boh Bros. Construction Company where she managed communication, business development, and marketing efforts for engineering, land surveying and construction management companies. After she took the stage and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans, Kirby was the Director of Public Relations and Marketing for De La Salle High School where she handled all marketing and communication efforts including the crisis communication response following Hurricane Katrina. Kirby’s greatest role yet is wife to Danny and mommy to her adorable cat Mr. Rhett Butler. But if you want to catch her “on stage,” just head to any dance floor and you can see her performing for the masses.
