Ashley Dwyer joined the Deveney team as an Associate in May 2010 after graduating from Vanderbilt University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in Managerial Studies and English. On campus, Ashley handled all marketing, logistics and public relations for Vanderbilt University Homecoming activities for undergraduates in 2008. Off campus, she gained immense PR and marketing experience as an intern at l’Eté du Vin, the nation’s oldest charity wine auction, and Nashville Lifestyles magazine. Her academic training in writing assisted her while composing press releases and online client promotions.
Within the Associate Program, Ashley dove right in, composing media advisories and compiling contact lists. Her academic training and internship experience have already proven useful. Her outgoing personality and intense initiative make her a perfect fit with the friendly and expert staff of Deveney Communication.
In September, Ashley was promoted to Senior Associate, taking on greater responsibility within the firm. As a dedicated team member, Ashley works closely with the Senior team on Healthcare clients such as Terrebonne General Medical Center and Touro Infirmary, as well Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group and Cox Communications Louisiana.
