PROGRAM SPECIFICS

Who is eligible?
Undergraduate candidates who have completed their sophomore year in college and possess a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Recent graduates and graduate students are also eligible to apply.

What are the necessary skills?
Applicants should have majored in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing or another relevant subject area. In addition, each candidate should be innovative, organized and enthusiastic, as well as possess relevant skills including: extensive writing and editing ability, capable oral communication skills, critical thinking.

When does each term begin/end?
Spring: January-April
Summer: May-August
Fall: August-December

How many hours are participants expected to work?
Scheduling is flexible, although, interns are asked to work an average of 20 hours/week. Recommended schedules should favor larger blocks of time rather than a few hours.

Does the program offer compensation?
The position is unpaid; however, students may apply for course credit.
